love of horror, labor of love
Sinew Creative was conceived originally as the container into which I would pour most of my solo art projects. However, it was quickly overtaken by apparel projects.

Menswear is famously dull, and garment options for horror aficionados tend to be of poor quality. I aimed to address both of these problems through a newly discovered capacity to produce knitwear. In essence, I made these knits because I wanted them for my own collection, but one thing led to another. I decided to indulge in creating a brand, a storefront, promotions, and all the mayhem pertaining thereto.

The Nosferatu Sweater
The flagship offering from Sinew, this four-color jacquard sweater is adapted from an original poster by Albin Grau, producer and art director for the 1922 film.

In a shameless attempt to capitalize on Robert Eggers' 2024 reimagining of Nosferatu, I created static and video assets for digital marketing on social media. I aimed to capture an antiquated aesthetic infused with modern snark.
Night of the Living Dead
Hot off the heels of the Nosferatu promotion, a new campaign to celebrate the cult horror classic. I aimed to streamline my approach for a punchier ad that still got the point across.
Doom & Drakes
An original repeat pattern, riffing on themes from the early dour days of dungeon delving. D&D, NetHack, Gauntlet, Ghouls and Ghosts? Don't mind if I do.
